Made with a selection of grapes from the varieties Aragonez, Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in three wine regions in Alentejo: Arronches (Portalegre), Borba and Arraiolos. After a traditional vinification the wine aged 12 months, in French and American oak barrels. The wine shows personality and good influence of the barrel ageing: dark ruby colour, intense aromas of ripe fruit (strawberry, cherry, plums) with hints of chocolate, coffee and vanilla (wood influence). In the mouth, it is complex and elegant, with rich structure and sweet tannins.
