More Information

WINEMAKING Made from carefully selected grapes with a degree of maturation which favours aromatic intensity and elegance. Following full destemming and gentle crushing, fermentation and gentle maceration by pumping over in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 25ºC was performed for approximately 8 days. MATURATION The wines which make up the final Salpico Red blend were aged in stainless steel vats for around 6 months. The malolactic fermentation was followed by batch preparation, fining, cold treatment and filtration procedures required for bottling. STORE The bottle should be stored on its side, in a cool, dry place, away from light and temperature variations. SERVE The wine should be served at a temperature of between 15ºC- 17ºC. ENJOY Salpico is ideal as an accompaniment to everyday meals and snacks and pairs very well with various meat dishes, certain fish, and cheeses.
